Hear the next generation of classical musicians in Ensemble Connect, the constantly evolving group called “the new face of classical music for New York” by The New York Times. Its final program of the season opens with Valerie Coleman’s Rubispheres, a series of chamber trios dedicated to urban life and landscapes—thus far including New York’s Lower East Side and Washington Heights. Also included are Dvořák’s spirited Terzetto, Johann Strauss Jr.’s regal Kaiser Waltz (arranged by Schoenberg), and Dohnányi’s dramatic, final piece of chamber music.
